Anue Systems Announces GigaBit Ethernet / IP Delay Emulator

Austin, TEXAS - January 26, 2004 — Anue Systems today launched a new product to its line of innovative next generation network testers. The GigaBit Ethernet Delay Emulator delays 1.25 Gbps data by up 500 ms with single bit granularity. This tester also allows controlled packet loss, BER injection and programmed signal loss for IP network impairment testing. With IP Latency & Impairment, Anue expands product line beyond SONET/SDH.

The enthusiastic response from our customers to our approach of emulating network latency and errors in an easy to use tester has led us to expand our product offerings beyond SONET,” explained Kevin Przybocki, President of Anue Systems. “Simulating IP Delay for data transmission over optical fiber is particularly suited for extended reach storage and backup applications.”

Anue Systems’ IP Latency Emulators, model MSGE for the 1U high uni-directional version, and MSGE-B for the 2U bi-directional configuration are available now.

Anue Systems’ line of in-line Network Delay and Impairment Emulators also cover other transmission protocols including SONET/SDH at data rates from OC-3/SDH-1 to OC48/SDH-16, and Fibre Channel.
