Finisar Introduces New Enhancements to Its Network Performance Monitoring Solution

SUNNYVALE, CA, Jul. 07, 2004 (MARKET WIRE via COMTEX) -- Finisar Corporation (NASDAQ: FNSR), a provider of network solutions, announced today the availability of NetWisdom Version 1.2, a monitoring solution that gives unparalleled insight into SAN and LAN performance.

NetWisdom is a real-time monitoring solution that enables both SAN and LAN managers to view critical data about their networks and increase performance and reliability. The detail gathered by NetWisdom is crucial for maintaining network uptime, staving off unexpected delays, reducing costs, and avoiding loss of revenue on mission critical applications. New features for this release include the addition of worldwide names for the rapid identification of assets in large storage environments, as well as expanded tap management capabilities to support larger deployments with increased performance visibility.
