Extreme Protocol Solutions adds Support for Native SATA
to Test and Development Software on Linux

Uxbridge, MA. (April 1, 2005) -- Extreme Protocol Solutions, the leading supplier of storage test solutions has announced support for Native SATA commands in its data storage test and development tools. This functionality is currently available in conjuction with chipsets and HBA's from Silcon Image and Marvell Semiconductors. This support will be expanded to Promise Technology and AMCC products by the end of this month. Newly supported functionality includes support for ATA5, ATA6 and ATA7 commands including PIO, DMA, 48 bit addressing and Native Command Queueing.

This powerful combination of features will help to reduce the overall expenditure of time and resources for next generation SATA product development.
