SANBlaze expands target emulation products with the GargantuLUN
Maynard, MA, January 12, 2006 -- SANBlaze Technology, Inc., today unveiled
the GargantuLUN, a SAN Target Emulation system supported 12 and 24 Fibre
Channel ports. The GargantuLUN delivers the same features as the SANBlaze
VirtuaLUN 2, 4 and 6 port 1U Target Emulation systems, but provides higher
port density in a 3U chassis. Customers can now deploy one flexible, powerful
tool that replaces costly, bulky, large disk arrays and various other
tools.
Advanced features such as error injection, scripting and configurable
drive parameters provide SAN product developers, Test, QA and manufacturing
engineers with a tool that can simulate thousands of boundary, exception
and stability conditions. Multiple JBOD and Tape configurations can be
simulated with a single product. Configurable target and drive density
allows for testing of hundreds of targets and over 2000 drives or tapes
in a single 3U chassis.
The GargantuLUN is available now in two configurations, a 24 Port system
supporting 2G Fiber Channel, and a 12 port system running at Fibre Channel
speeds up to 4G. A 24 port system for 4G Fibre Channel will be available
in Q2, 2006.
