News Anue Systems Introduces Ten Gigabit Network Emulators

Anue Systems Joins VoIP Consortium at University of New Hampshire Interoperability Lab (UNH-IOL)

Provides GEM Network Emulator for creating real world network conditions in VoIP test bed

AUSTIN, TX – September 18, 2006 – Anue Systems, the performance leader in network delay and impairment emulation, announced today that it has joined the VoIP Consortium at the UNH-IOL. In addition, Anue’s GEM Ethernet Network Emulator will be used by the VoIP lab as a key test equipment component for the validation of conformance to standards and cross-vendor interoperability of VoIP products.

The UNH-IOL Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) Consortium is a collaborative testing program for VoIP products that brings together members and industry to foster interoperability among VoIP products and increase the market feasibility of VoIP technology. Products tested include SIP User Agents; VoIP ATA's, home gateways, and integrated access devices; VoIP system chipsets; Proxy Servers; Media Gateways; and VoIP Test Equipment.

"We are excited to have Anue on board as full member of IOL,” said Lincoln Lavoie, Senior Engineer, UNH-IOL. “The GEM Emulator has been extremely valuable to us in testing the sensitivity of VoIP applications to various network conditions in order to establish, maintain and optimize VoIP performance and availability."

“Anue Network Emulators excel at testing the impact of network delays, impairments, traffic shaping and QoS parameters on the performance of VoIP,” described Hemi Thaker, President and CEO of Anue Systems. “That’s why customers around the world are using Anue in their labs to ensure an acceptable customer experience and MOS rating prior to live VoIP deployment.”

About UNH-IOL
The University of New Hampshire InterOperability Laboratory (UNH-IOL) tests networking and data communications products. The university established the laboratory in 1988 with the dual mission of providing a neutral environment to foster multi-vendor interoperability and conformance to data communications networking standards while educating students for future employment in the industry. The laboratory has since grown into one of the industry's premier independent proving grounds for new technologies.
