10/100/1000 Gigabit Ethernet Network Delay Emulators

GEM/XGEM Network Delay Emulators

Anue Ethernet Network Simulators are ideal for testing Ethernet or IP based networking solutions in a lab environment.

Ethernet Network Simulators can reproduce the delay and impairments experienced by Ethernet signals across MANs and WANs regardless of the underlying transport mechanism.

Does your solution:
Work properly in the presence of delay and packet jitter?
Detect and handle errored frames?
Accommodate frames that are dropped, fragmented, duplicated or out of sequence?

Anue Ethernet Network Simulators:
Run 100% line rate traffic from 10Mbps to 10Gbps
Can be automated or operated interactively, locally or remotely
Are accurate down to one-bit time increments
Provide delay of 250ms or more at all bit rates

Ethernet Network Simulators

Anue Ethernet Network Simulators reproduce the effects of Ethernet networks at all speeds, from 10Mbps to 10Gbps, running on both copper and fiber media. Configurable impairments include delay, packet drop, reordering, duplication, fragmentation, modification, corruption, jitter and signal loss conditions. Frames can be selected for impairment based on a variety of Ethernet (Layer 2) or IP (Layer 3) characteristics (VLAN tag, source or destination address) or any other data in an Ethernet Frame. Specific bytes within a frame header or payload can be targeted for modification or corruption.

Ethernet Network Simulators can be configured and controlled locally using the front panel, or remotely via an Ethernet connection. The included software package allows remote control using either a Graphical User Interface or through a TCL API, which allows for easy automation of common tasks.
