Common Public Radio Interface
(CPRI) Signal Delay Network Emulators
Anue CPRI Signal Delay Network Emulators simulate the impairments that
can occur on a CPRI link. Like all Anue emulators it is supported by a
flexible hardware platform that enables very accurate and highly repeatable
testing and includes automation capabilities to increase testing efficiency.
The CPRI Signal Delay Network Emulator can emulate bit errors, LOS, LOF
and variable delay with 1-bit time resolution. This capability can be
combined with other Anue emulation options to create multi-protocol systems.
Does your solution:
Accurately measure the round trip delay for single link and multi-hop
configurations?
Properly detect, indicate and clear LOS, LOF, RAI and SDI alarms?
Accurately detect bit errors?
Maui Network Emulator Hardware Platform
The CPRI Signal Delay Network Emulator is available on the Maui platform,
a 2U rack-mount chassis that supports data rates up to 2.6 Gbps and up
to 7 software loads.
Supported rates
614.4Mbps (OS.6, OL.6)
1228.8Mbps (OS.12, OL.12)
2457.6Mbps (OS.24, OL.24)
Delay
Inject delay from 0ms to 250ms in 1-bit time increments (additional delay
optionally available).
Create bit slips.
BER
Set error rates from 10-17 to 10-3.
Inject errors at a fixed rate (periodic) or randomly with a Uniform, Poisson
or Gaussian distribution.
Error 1 bit, 32 contiguous bits or a 32-bit user-defined error pattern.
Alarms
Simulate LOS, LOF and/or squelch mode via GUI or scripting.
Operation
Configure via a front panel LCD control for standalone operation.
Configure remotely via an Ethernet control port.
Interactive: Browser-based GUI with save/load capability.
Automated: Powerful TCL script library.

Note: Up to 7 software loads for different protocols
(SONET, OTN, Ethernet, Fibre Channel, CPRI) can be combined on the same
system. A combo system can easily switch between different features, data
rates and protocols, simplifying testing and leveraging your investment.
