Anue was founded in 2002 by an experienced team of technologists and entrepreneurs. Our engineers have extensive experience developing communications products, and intimate knowledge of the latest networking technologies such as: SONET Virtual Concatenation (VCAT), Link Control Access System (LCAS), and Generic Framing Procedure (GFP); Gigabit Ethernet MANs and WANs; and long distance Storage backup.

Anue's Emulators are designed to meet the specific needs of development teams that are creating next generation optical transport solutions. In particular, we deliver tools used for testing products and solutions that enable Ethernet and higher level protocol signals to be routed over high-speed fiber optic links.

Our products are "appliance-like": quick to install, simple to use, and cost effective. Our Layer 1 and Layer 2 WAN Emulators allow users to simulate signal delays and bit errors at multiple data rates, and even multiple protocols with a single box, instead of attaching several hundred kilometer long spools of fiber and error generators to their equipment. Our SONET/SDH Emulators function at OC3 through OC192 rates, while our Fibre Channel and GigE WAN Emulators function at up to 10 Gbps.
